East Siberia's Transport Procecution Office reported on Oct 28th 2015 that the #2 generator failed when the aircraft descended through 500 meters followed by persistent #2 magnetic chip detector, engine overheat, engine surge, engine vibrations indications. The aircraft landed normally and safely, there was no damage to the aircraft. Russia's Rosaviatsia (Civil Aviation Authority) have opened an investigation, the prosecution office will decide about criminal procedures after the conclusion of Rosaviatsia's investigation.
