An American Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N968AN performing flight AA-1329 from San Juan (Puerto Rico) to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA), had been enroute at FL400. The aircraft descended to FL200 leaving FL400 about 300nm southeast of Chicago continuing the flight at FL200. About 170nm southeast of Chicago the aircraft encountered turbulence causing minor injuries to a flight attendant and a passenger. The aircraft continued for a safe landing in Chicago about 30 minutes later.

The FAA reported a flight attendant and a passenger received minor injuries when the aircraft encountered turbulence near Cincinnati,OH (USA).

A frontal system was affecting the area southeast of Chicago over Indiana and Ohio.
