A replacement Airbus A321-200 registration SU-GBT was dispatched to Gassim, continued the flight and reached Dubai with a delay of 10 hours.
Saudi Arabia's Civil Aviation Authority reported the aircraft diverted to Gassim due to the sudden failure of the cabin pressure.
The occurrence aircraft was able to position back to Alexandria after about 15 hours on the ground in Gassim and resumed service afterwards.
