A Transavia Boeing 737-800, registration PH-HZE performing flight HV-791 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Preveza (Greece), landed on Preveza's runway 07L when the crew received a left hand thrust reverser indication (engine CFM56). The aircraft slowed safely and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight on schedule. Maintenance was flown in to disable the thrust reverser.

The aircraft departed for the return flight HV-792 about 14 hours after landing and reached Amsterdam with a total delay of 12.5 hours.
