An Air Arabia Airbus A320-200, registration A6-ABU performing flight G9-291 from Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) to Tbilisi (Georgia) with 126 people on board, was enroute at FL360 about 45nm south of Isfahan (Iran) when the crew initiated a rapid descent reporting problems with one of the cabin pressure controllers and decided to divert to Isfahan for a safe landing.

Following repairs the aircraft was able to depart Isfahan again after about 5 hours on the ground and reached Tbilisi with a delay of 5 hours.
