An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZFN performing flight U2-7145 from Liverpool,EN (UK) to Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain), was climbing through FL340 out of Liverpool when the crew decided to divert to London Gatwick reporting an electrical odour on the flight deck. The aircraft landed safely on Gatwick's runway 26L about 17 minutes later. Following checks by emergency services the aircraft taxied to the apron where passengers disembarked normally.

The airline reported a technical issue resulted in an electrical smell on the flight deck. The aircraft landed safely, the passengers disembarked safely.

A replacement A319-100 registration G-EZAS reached Palma Mallorca with a delay of 4:45 hours.
