A GoJet Airlines Canadair CRJ-700 on behalf of United, registration N175GJ performing flight G7-3663/UA-3663 from Raleigh/Durham,NC to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA) with 60 people on board, was climbing through 13,000 feet out of Raleigh when the crew reported smoke in the cockpit and requested to return to Raleigh. The aircraft landed safely back on runway 23R about 20 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

A passenger reported a smoke detector began to sound, an electrical smell became apparent just as the aircraft began to descend back to Raleigh.
