A Transavia Boeing 737-700, registration PH-XRZ performing flight HV-6203 from Eindhoven (Netherlands) to Lisbon (Portugal), was climbing through FL370 out of Eindhoven about 30nm eastsoutheast of Lille (France) when the crew donned their oxygen masks and initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure, the passenger oxygen masks were released, and levelled off at 8000 feet about 8 minutes later (average rate of descent 3600fpm). The aircraft diverted to Lille for a safe landing on runway 26.

The airline confirmed a loss of cabin pressure, passengers not wanting to continue their journey are going to be bussed back to Eindhoven, the others are estimated to arrive in Lisbon with a replacement aircraft later the day.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration PH-HZD has just arrived in Lille and is estimated to reach Lisbon with a delay of about 5 hours.
