An American Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration N197UW performing flight AA-2398 from Atlanta,GA to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) with 133 people on board, was on approach to Dallas when the crew reported a fire in the back of cabin, cabin crew was trying to put it out. Later the crew advised a passenger's laptop had caught fire, the laptop was now contained in mid cabin, 4-5 people on board received injuries including burns to hands. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on DFW's runway 17C and taxied to the apron where emergency services boarded the aircraft.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Dallas about 10 hours after landing.
