An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-400, registration N767AS performing flight AS-76 from Juneau,AK to Seattle,WA (USA) with 120 passengers and 5 crew, was enroute at FL330 about 60nm northwest of Vancouver,BC (Canada) when the crew decided to divert to Vancouver reporting electrical problems but anticipating a normal landing, emergency services were not requested. The aircraft landed safely on Vancouver's runway 26L about 15 minutes after leaving FL330.

The airline reported a problem arose in one of the two electrical systems of the aircraft.

A replacement Boeing 737-700 reached Seattle with a delay of 5 hours.

On May 15th 2015 the Canadian TSB reported the crew received a dual Inertial Reference System (IRS) DC FAIL indication. According to the related checklists the aircraft diverted to the nearest suitable airport. Maintenance determined a faulty battery charger caused the problems, the battery charger and the main battery were replaced.
