A Fedex Boeing 757-200 freighter, registration N915FD performing flight FX-5071 from Tel Aviv (Israel) to Cologne/Bonn (Germany), was on final approach to Cologne's runway 32 R when the crew initiated a missed approach at about 1500 feet AGL reporting they could not extend the flaps beyond 20 degrees. The aircraft landed safely on runway 32R at a higher than normal speed about 15 minutes after the go-around.

The aircraft was able to resume service about 4 hours later.
