A PSA Airlines Canadair CRJ-900 on behalf of US Airways/American Airlines, registration N547NN performing flight JIA-5305/US-5305 from Charlotte,NC to Milwaukee,WI (USA) with 74 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing through FL340 out of Charlotte when the crew received information that their outboard left main tyre might be blown. The crew decided to divert to Dayton,OH for a low approach to runway 06R for an inspection of the left main gear, in particular outboard tyre. Tower reported the tyre appeared normal and cleared the aircraft to land on runway 24R. The aircraft landed safely on runway 24R about 10 minutes after the low approach, stopped on the runway for a brief check by emergency services and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft continued the flight after about 80 minutes on the ground and reached Milwaukee with a delay of 90 minutes.
