A Swiss Embraer ERJ-190, registration HB-JVM performing flight LX-1352 from Zurich (Switzerland) to Warsaw (Poland) with 96 passengers and 5 crew, was on final approach to Warsaw's runway 33 when immediately after checking in with tower the crew requested to discontinue the approach reporting a problem with the flaps. Following the standard missed approach procedure the aircraft climbed to 5000 feet and entered a hold for troubleshooting. The crew advised they continued to have problems with their flaps, requested emergency services on standby advising their landing would be fast and long. The aircraft landed safely on Warsaw's runway 33 at a higher than normal speed about 30 minutes later.

The occurrence aircraft was able to depart for the return flight LX-1353 with a delay of 2 hours.
