The airline reported the gear received a normal main indication, the backup system however indicated unsafe. Crew and ground staff worked the related procedures before the aircraft landed safely. The aircraft was withdrawn from service for further checks.
The onward leg to Taiyuan, 60 passengers waiting for the flight, needed to be cancelled at Yulin, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
