An Air Canada Airbus A330-300, registration C-GFAH performing flight AC-878 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Zurich (Switzerland) with 275 people on board, was enroute at FL370 about 60nm north of Bangor,ME (USA) when the crew received indication of low oil pressure indication for the left hand engine (Trent 772), worked the related checklists and shut the engine down. The aircraft diverted to Bangor for a safe landing about 40 minutes later.
