An Air Canada Rouge Airbus A319-100, registration C-GJVY performing flight RV-1791 from Liberia (Costa Rica) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 148 people on board, was just about to reach the top of descent towards Toronto when the crew received a low hydraulic fluid indication for the green hydraulic system and worked the relevant checklists confirming the green system had lost all hydraulic fluid. The crew declared an emergency, subsequently performed a manual gear extension and landed the aircraft safely on Toronto's runway 33R. The aircraft stopped on the runway, emergency services detected a hydraulic leak near the nose gear. The aircraft was towed to the apron.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced an O-ring and fitting at the green hydraulic accumulator.
