An Okay Airways Xian MA-60, registration B-3710 performing flight BK-2870 from Tianjin to Shenyang (China) with 30 people on board, was on approach to Shenyang when after extending the gear the crew received an unsafe gear indication and aborted the approach. The aircraft entered a hold to troubleshoot for about 2:15 hours, did a number of low approaches in between which showed the gear appeared to be in extended position. The crew prepared for an emergency landing with a possibly unlocked gear, but managed a safe landing about 2.5 hours past schedule.

The airline confirmed the crew received a red indication for one gear strut, the indication was false other than in an accident earlier this month, see Accident: JoyAir MA60 at Zhengzhou on Feb 4th 2014, nose gear collapse on landing.
