An Okay Airlines Boeing 737-900, registration B-1739 performing flight BK-2823 from Xian to Nanning (China), landed on Nanning's runway 05 at 12:39L (04:39Z), however, the tail contacted the runway surface. The aircraft rolled out without further incident and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule resulting in the cancellation of a number of flights and is still on the ground 15.5 hours after landing.
