A Great Lakes Aviation Beech 1900D on behalf of United, registration N169GL performing flight ZK-7125/UA-7125 from Denver,CO to Telluride,CO (USA) with 10 passengers and 2 crew, was on approach to Telluride when the crew did not received a down and locked indication for the left main gear after the landing gear was selected down. The crew aborted the approach and entered a holding to work the relevant checklists but was unable to lock the left main gear. The aircraft finally needed to land on Telluride's runway 27, upon touch down the left main gear collapsed. The aircraft came to a stop on the runway on its nose gear, right main gear and left wing. There were no injuries, the aircraft received substantial damage however.

On Feb 7th 2014 the NTSB released a brief preliminary report confirming the collapse of the left main gear. The aircraft received substantial damage. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
