An Expressjet Embraer ERJ-145 on behalf of United, registration N12136 performing flight EV-5968/UA-5968 from Denver,CO to El Paso,TX (USA), was enroute at FL360 about 40nm south of Albuquerque,NM (USA) when the crew reported they had lost their right hand engine. The aircraft diverted to Albuquerque for a safe landing about 25 minutes later.

A replacement Embraer ERJ-145 reached El Paso with a delay of 8.5 hours.
