A US Airways Boeing 757-200, registration N935UW performing flight US-723 from Dublin (Ireland) to Philadelphia,PA (USA) with 181 people on board, was enroute over the Atlantic when the crew detected the right hand engine's (RB211) oil quantity began to decrease. When the oil quantity reached 2 quarts at FL360 about 270 northeast of Goose Bay,NL (Canada) the crew worked the relevant checklists, shut the right hand engine down and diverted to Goose Bay for a safe landing about 50 minutes later.

A replacement Boeing 767-200 reached Philadelphia with a delay of 8 hours.
