A Copa Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration HP-1711CMP performing flight CM-478 from Panama City (Panama) to Orlando,FL (USA), was descending towards Orlando when the aircraft encountered turbulence. The aircraft continued to Orlando for a safe landing on runway 17L.

The FAA reported a passenger and 4 cabin crew received injuries in the turbulence encounter.
