A COPA Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration HP-1521CMP performing flight CM-386 from Tegucigalpa (Honduras) to Panama City (Panama), was enroute at FL330 about 110nm north of Managua (Nicaragua) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft diverted to Managua for a safe landing on runway 10 about 40 minutes later.

A listener on frequency reported the crew declared emergency due to pressurization and initiated an emergency descent diverting to Managua.

A replacement Boeing 737-9 MAX registration HP-9919CMP reached Panama City with a delay of about 5:45 hours.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Managua for about 10 hours, then positioned to Panama City and is currently still on the ground in Panama City about 29 hours after landing in Managua.
