The airline confirmed a bird strike on arrival in Lahore requiring a number of spare parts to be flown to Lahore to repair the damaged engine. As result a number of flights were delayed. The airline complained that there are significant problems with bird populations at Lahore and Karachi Airport, Pakistan's CAA has been repeatedly notified in letters and action has been demanded, however no activity to take care of the bird issue is being seen.
