A Thomson Airways Boeing 757-200, registration G-CPEV performing flight BY-6707 from Arrecife,SP (Spain) to Cardiff,WL (UK), was on approach to Cardiff's runway 30 when the crew declared PAN reporting flaps problems. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 30 at a slightly higher than normal speed.

The incident aircraft is still on the ground in Cardiff 20 hours after landing. The aircraft had encountered a similiar problem the day before, see Incident: Thomson B752 at Cardiff on Jun 22nd 2013, flaps problem.

The airline reported a minor flaps problems prompted the crew to declare PAN as a precaution, the aircraft landed safely.

The airport reported just like the day before emergency services were put on stand by but were not needed and were stood down.
