A Kelowna Flightcraft Boeing 727-200, registration C-GKKF performing freight flight KFA-291 from Winnipeg,MB to Regina,SK (Canada) with 4 crew, was on short final to Regina's runway 13 when a bird impacted the aircraft. The crew continued for a safe landing on runway 13.

On Jun 18th 2013 Canada's TSB rated the occurrence an accident reporting the aircraft received substantial damage to radome and the leading edge of the right hand wing.

The airport reported emergency services recovered a dead duck from the runway.
