A Vueling Airbus A320-200, registration EC-LML performing flight VY-7101 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to La Coruna,SP (Spain), was on final approach to La Coruna's runway 21 when the aircraft touched down hard and went around at 20:16L (18:16Z). The crew reported they were practising autolands, the autopilot had disconnected at 30 feet AGL and they went around. The aircraft climbed to 3000 feet, positioned for another approach and landed safely on runway 21 about 12 minutes after going around.

The aircraft resumed service on May 30th.

The airline reported the captain chose to discontinue the approach due to a gust of wind.
