A Lufthansa Cityline Canadair CRJ-900, registration D-ACKC performing flight CL-1671/LH-1671 from Cluj (Romania) to Munich (Germany), was descending through about FL120 towards Munich when the crew advised they had a mechanical problem with the nose gear steering and requested a priority landing into Munich with emergency services on stand by. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Munich's runway 26L about 10 minutes later. The aircraft vacated the runway and stopped on an adjacent taxiway, from where the aircraft was towed to the apron.
