A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-100, registration C-FABN performing flight QK-7892 from Columbus,OH (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 34 people on board, was enroute when the crew received a #2 hydraulic caution and activated the stand by pump. Now the #2 hydraulic quantity began to decrease and the #1 hydraulic system hot caution activated. The crew declared emergency, subsequently performed an alternate gear extension and landed safely on Toronto's runway 23 about 30 minutes after the crew declared emergency.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance found a broken line at the brake pressure manifold.
