A Jazz Canadair CRJ-200, registration C-GUJA performing flight QK-8861 from Gander,NL to Halifax,NS (Canada), was descending towards Halifax when the crew noticed a decreasing quantity indication for the #2 hydraulic system and declared emergency. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 23 about 6 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported the #2 engine driven pump was found leaking and was replaced.
