An American Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N602AN performing flight AA-672 from Saint Thomas (Virgin Islands) to Miami,FL (USA), was on final approach to Miami's runway 09 when the crew went around from about 1000 feet MSL reporting an indication of a flaps problem. The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 09 and landed safely on runway 09, emergency services on stand by, about 20 minutes later.
