A United Boeing 767-300, registration N670UA performing flight UA-847 from Newark,NJ (USA) to Buenos Aires,BA (Argentina), was descending towards Buenos Aires when the crew reported hydraulic problems and entered a hold at 7000 feet for about 35 minutes. The aircraft subsequently positioned for an approach to runway 11 and landed safely at a normal speed vacating the runway onto taxiway H, where the aircraft stopped. Emergency services needed to clean hydraulic fluid off the run- and taxiway.

As result flight UA-818 from Buenos Aires to Houston,TX (USA) was cancelled.
