An Aeroflot Superjet 100-95, registration RA-89009 performing flight SU-1811 from Kharkov (Ukraine) to Moscow Sheremetyevo (Russia), had completed a seemingly uneventful flight.

Rosaviatsia reported however that a post flight examination revealed damage to the first section of right hand slats and the right hand engine pylon, fragments of feathers were found entangled permitting the damage to be identified as result of a bird strike. The aircraft needed to be removed from service for repairs for 28 hours.
