A Cebu Pacific Airlines Airbus A321-200N, registration RP-C4120 performing flight 5J-786 from Butuan to Manila (Philippines), was backtracking Butuan's runway 12 for departure when upon turning around to line up the aircraft's nose gear went off the paved surface. The aircraft became disabled.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Butuan 14.5 hours later.
