Porter DH8D at Montreal on Feb 21st 2013, runway incursion

A Porter Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, flight PD-434 from Montreal,QC to Toronto City,ON (Canada), was taxiing for departure along taxiway A1 and had been instructed to hold short of runway 24L.

A private jet was subsequently cleared for takeoff on runway 24L. When the private jet accelerated through about 50 knots the Dash 8 was seen crossing the hold short line, tower instructed the jet to reject takeoff and the Dash 8 to hold position.

The Canadian TSB reported the Dash 8 came to a stop about 50 feet past the hold short line, the jet was able to stop about 2000 feet before the intersection with taxiway A1.
