A Chautauqua Airlines Embraer ERJ-145 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N283SK performing flight RP-6169/DL-6169 from Cincinnati,OH to Raleigh/Durham,NC (USA), was preparing for departure when a flight attendant fell out of an aircraft door, received injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The FAA reported the flight attendant fell out of the galley door and received unknown injuries.

The flight was cancelled.

On Mar 28th 2013 the NTSB reported that the aircraft was stationary at the gate, winds were blowing from 260 degrees at 25 knots gusting 35 knots. The flight attendant stated that after opening the door to permit the galley service crew in a gust of wind blew papers up in the galley area, while she was trying to catch those papers the wind blew her out of the galley door, she was not wearing the safety strap at the time. The flight attendant received a serious injury to her vertebrae.
