An Indigo Airbus A321-200N, registration VT-IBI performing flight 6E-5325 from Mumbai to Chennai (India) with 186 people on board, landed on Chennai's runway 25 but struck its tail onto the runway surface. The aircraft rolled out without further incident and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Chennai about 56 hours after landing.

India's DGCA opened an investigation into the occurrence.
