A PAL Express de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration RP-C5911 performing flight PR-2285 from Cebu to Bacolod City (Philippines) with 69 people on board, landed on Bacolod's runway 03 but could not stop before the end of the runway resulting in an overrun.

The airline reported that the brakes could not handle the slippery portion of Runway 03 during heavy rain, the aircraft failed to stop within the intended runway length, resulting in an overshoot into the taxiway.

Philippines CAA (CAAP) reported there were no injuries in the minor runway excursion.
