A PAL Express de Havilland Dash 8-400 on behalf of Philippine Airlines (PAL), registration RP-C3031 performing flight PR-2687 from Angeles City to Busuanga (Philippines) with 55 passengers, was enroute at FL200 when the crew decided to divert to Manila (Philippines) reporting smoke in the cabin. The aircraft landed safely in Manila.

The airline reported flight PR-2687 performed an emergency landing into Manila. All 55 passengers disembarked normally and were rebooked onto other services.
