A Delta Airlines Boeing 767-400, registration N843MH performing flight DL-264 (sched. dep Nov 20th, act. dep Nov 21st) from New York JFK,NY (USA) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) with 238 people on board, was climbing out of JFK's runway 04L when the crew stopped the climb at 12000 feet to trouble shoot and subsequently declared emergency reporting fumes on board. The aircraft returned to JFK, advising that the situation on board clearing but they were doing an overweight landing. The aircraft landed safely on runway 04L about 40 minutes after departure.

The aircraft positioned to Atlanta,GA on Nov 22nd 2024 and returned to service on Nov 27th 2024.
