A United Boeing 757-200, registration N18112 performing flight UA-403 from Newark,NJ to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA), was climbing out of Newark's runway 22R when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet reporting their left hand engine (RB211) had been power limited during takeoff even though they now had enough power for climb, max continuous etc. The aircraft returned to Newark for a safe landing on runway 22L about 30 minutes after departure.

The aircraft is still on the ground about 22 hours after landing back.
