An Indigo Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-IZI performing flight 6E-5194 from Gorakhpur to Mumbai (India) with 186 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL340 about 110nm south of Lucknow (India) when the crew declared emergency reporting engine (PW1127G) trouble, shut the engine down, descended the aircraft to FL220 and diverted to Lucknow for a safe landing on runway 09 about 45 minutes later.

A replacement A320-200N registration VT-ISA reached Mumbai with a delay of about 4.5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Lucknow about 98 hours after landing (4 days 2 hours).
