A KLM Boeing 777-200, registration PH-BQB performing flight KL-895 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Shanghai (China), was enroute at FL330 about 140nm northnortheast of Ankara (Turkey) when the crew decided to divert to Ankara reporting a forward cargo fire indication. The aircraft landed safely on Ankara's runway 03R about 25 minutes later. Attending emergency services found no evidence of fire, heat or smoke.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 6 hours, then returned to Amsterdam.

The rotation was cancelled.
