A Porter Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration C-GKQF performing flight PD-131 from Toronto City Airport,ON (Canada) to Newark,NJ (USA) with 24 people on board, was cleared to taxi via taxiways C and D hold short of runway 26. The first officer on COM1 radio correctly acknowledged the instruction, the captain on COM2 ackknowledged too but omitted the hold short instruction. The aircraft crossed the hold short line, by the time the first officer repeated the instruction the aircraft came to a stop with the aircraft perpendicular to the runway markings and the nose gear on the runway centerline.

The Canadian TSB reported there was no risk of a collision with other traffic in the circuit or snow removal equipment.
