An Indonesia AirAsia Airbus A320-200, registration PK-AZL performing flight QZ-810 from Jakarta to Denpasar (Indonesia), was enroute at FL350 about 10nm northeast of Surabaya (Indonesia) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft continued to Denpasar for a safe landing about 45 minutes after leaving FL350.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Denpasar as of Feb 27th 2024.

Indonesia's KNKT rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.
