A Smartlynx Airbus A321-200 on behalf of Anadolujet/Turkish Airlines, registration YL-LDS performing flight TK-7768 from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (Turkey) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was climbing out of Sabiha Gokcen's runway 06L when the crew stopped the climb at 8000 feet initially, later climbing to 11000 and 13000 feet, due to the cabin not pressurizing normally. The aircraft subsequently returned to Sabiha Gokcen for a safe landing on runway 06R about 100 minutes after departure.

A passenger reported that the aircraft departed with a delay of about 50 minutes after the front door did not close, a mechanics fixed the door, then the aircraft departed. The captain announced they had a problem with the cabin pressure, would need to burn off fuel for about 1-2 hours and return to Istanbul. Emergency services were on standby for landing. A replacement A321 took them to Amsterdam.

A replacement A321-200 registration YL-LDR reached Amsterdam with a delay of about 4 hours.
