An iAero Airways Boeing 737-300, registration N531AU performing flight WQ-3603 from Guatemala City (Guatemala) to San Antonio,TX (USA) with 18 people on board, was climbing out of Guatemala's runway 02 when the crew stopped the climb at about FL245 due to problems with the cabin pressure and descended the aircraft to FL110. The aircraft returned to Guatemala City for a safe landing on runway 02 about 40 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 19 hours, then departed for the flight and reached San Antonio with a delay of about 20.5 hours. The aircraft is still on the ground in San Antonio about 18 hours after landing in San Antonio.

Guatemala's Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil reported the aircraft suffered a depressurization, a yellow alert was raised at the airport.
