The airport reported there was inclement weather at the time of the landing, the aircraft overran the end of the runway. There were no injuries, two school busses took the passengers to the terminal.
The occurrence aircraft was unable to continue its schedule and is still on the ground in Waterloo about 16 hours after landing.
On Mar 7th 2022 the FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT LANDED LONG AND WENT OFF END OF RUNWAY, WATERLOO, IA.", the damage was unknown and the occurrence was rated an incident.
