Scoot A320 at Hat Yai on Apr 4th 2023, tail strike on landing

A Scoot Airbus A320-200, registration 9V-TRH performing flight TR-634 from Singapore (Singapore) to Hat Yai (Thailand), landed on Hat Yai's runway 26 at a rather high pitch at 14:01L (07:01Z) when a loud noise was heard from the back of the aircraft upon touch down. The aircraft rolled out without further incident.

A replacement A320-200 registration 9V-TRC positioned from Singapore to Hat Yai and performed the return flight TR-635 with a delay of about 7 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Hat Yai about 4 days 6.5 hours after landing.

A passenger, being pilot himself, reported the aircraft touched down in an unusual high pitch attitude, loud scraping noises were heard from the rear of the aircraft upon touchdown.
