An Air Canada Airbus A330-300, registration C-GHKR performing flight AC-917 from Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada), was descending towards Toronto when the crew reported the blue hydraulic system had overheated and was showing low pressure. The crew declared PAN PAN and continued to Toronto for a safe landing.

The Canadian TSB reported no leaks were discovered, maintenance however found the blue hydraulic pump had failed.
